The practical experience gained in the security industry by the Executive Member has contributed to the establishment of the company
as a result of the following observations and strive to remedy:- a) To socially & economically empower males, females and marginalized groups within the Republic of South Africa.
- b) The continued dissatisfaction of clients due to security breaches, losses, escalating crime rate within organizations.
- c) Deviation from professional services that guarantees safety and protection to self-enrichment, the exploitation of security officers.
- d) The disregard to the well-being of security officers and the deployment of poorly trained, skilled security officers in the name of profit has prompted the establishment of TACT PRO PROTECTION SERVICES cc with special tactical background to enhanced by technology to neutralize all manner of crime.
The Executive Member views economic empowerment as a prologue towards participation in the market and security industry of the country by contributing to change the perception that communities and organisations are helpless against the scourge of crime by becoming a formidable security service provider that reverses the gains of criminal elements.
RESOURCES & CAPACITY
TACTPRO PROTECTION SERVICES cc has the capacity to administratively and operationally expand in any location. The company has the capacity with the following security equipment and innovative technology, including human capital:
- related security equipment
- applied innovative technology (Not limited to CCTV surveillance equipment)
- firearms (application for 11 firearms / SAPS licensing in progress)
- defensive non-ballistic devices
- dogs (optional)
- vehicles
- uniforms
- two-way radio communication systems for specialised functions within the operational framework and security industry
- monitoring devices
The company employs only fully trained and PSiRA-registered security operatives in their designated grading category in all protection contracts, operating according to specified Site Instructions assisted by integrated technology designed for the client's individual security needs. Security operatives have the necessary and relevant equipment to execute their functions effectively; which include uniforms, if required, and protective equipment within the legal scope of Private Defense to enable them to render their tasks without fear and prejudice.
The office is centrally located, with easy access for the public and clients and is well equipped with telephones, fax, and an electronic communication facility.
The company has liability insurance cover of R 2 million.
TACT PRO PROTECTION SERVICES cc has recently successfully completed large security contracts which includes Provincial Treasury (86 Guards) and Makana Municipality (60 Guards). This is an indication of the company's ability, sustainability, experience and capacity to render services in the public as well as municipal spheres. The company currently has immediate access to its own fleet of vehicles, trained and PRIRA registered guards and can acquire additional resources and capacity as the need arises.
SUSTAINABILITY
The company has a positive cash flow and can gamer additional funding should the need arise. The company can sustain a large project for a period of time in order to commence operations on a new project having direct access to immediate reserves of one quarter of a million rand.
